Privacy policy

Last updated 5 November 2026

This policy explains what Better Brand Scaling collects through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. It follows the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Who we are

Better Brand Scaling is a paid advertising agency working only with Australian air conditioning and heating businesses. This policy covers this website and the enquiries it sends us.

What we collect

We collect only what you type into the enquiry form:

  • Your business name.
  • Your email address, so we can reply.
  • Anything you choose to write in a message to us.

We do not ask for your address, date of birth, payment details or government identifiers. This site has no accounts and no login.

Technical information

Like any website, our hosting provider records standard request information such as your IP address, the page requested, the time and your browser type. This is used for security, fraud prevention and keeping the site online, not to profile you.

Our page fonts are fetched from Google's font servers. That request tells Google your IP address and browser. Google sets no advertising cookies for this service.

Why we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and arrange a call.
  • To keep a record of what we discussed about your advertising.
  • To keep the website secure and working.
  • To meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not use your enquiry details to target ads at you.

Who we share it with

Our website and database are hosted on Base44, which stores enquiry records on our behalf. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers, data brokers or list renters.

We may disclosure information where we are legally required to, or to a professional adviser under a duty of confidentiality.

Storage outside Australia

Our hosting provider may store data on servers outside Australia. Before doing so we take reasonable steps to ensure the information receives protection comparable to the Australian Privacy Principles.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are kept while we are in discussion with you, and for up to 24 months afterwards so we can pick up the conversation. After that they are deleted. Deletion requests are actioned within 30 days unless we must keep something by law.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Use the data request form and we will respond within 30 days.

Security

Enquiry records are kept in an access-controlled database, and only the people who need them can open them. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute protection, but we take reasonable technical and organisational steps.

Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your information, tell us first through the data request form so we can fix it. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be described plainly, not buried.

Your data, your call

Ask us to show, correct or delete what we hold about you.
